Do you send a thank you note after a job interview? If not, you should consider doing so. Here's why according to Money magazine's November issue:
88% of execs say a thank-you note can influence a hiring decision.
Personally, I always send a short note of thanks (maybe even an email) to my main at any firm I've interviewed with. If I interview with a bunch of people, I always thank them for their time after the interview, but I don't send each one a thank you note. Not sure if this is good or bad -- or even how much a note helps/lack of a note hurts. After all, they say it CAN influence a hiring decision, not that it DOES influence a hiring decision.
How about you? Do you send thank you notes after interviews?
